General Isaac (4) Maltby, Benjamin (3), Daniel (2), William (1). Born in 1767, was too young to have been in the Revolutionary War. He served throughout the War of 1812 and was a distinguished soldier and scholar. His commissions are in the possession of his granddaughter, Mrs. Frederick E. Foster. Elizur (or Belizur) Maltby. Query: Was he in the War of 1812? He was born May 1, 1791, and was on the U.S. Ship “Epiver,” for the Mediterranean, a dispatch ship, I believe. He was never after heard from.

Timothy Maltby served in the War of 1812.
